The Sanyo EM-S153 microwave oven is a simple and effective oven and will set you back approx. £100. It comes in three colours (white, green and blue) and has a capacity of 0.7 cu. ft. (20 L) and six separate heat settings ranging from 80 to 800 W output. This microwave is a bargain for what you get! It cost me £110 when I bought it over 3 years ago and it’s still going strong. It’s one of those coloured ones that match your kitchen, either green, blue or white. At 800w it’s certainly very powerful, and has settings for 80w, 150w, 300w, 450w, 700w and 800w to suit different things that you either want to defrost, cook, or re-heat. There’s an auto defrost facility where you key in the weight of what your defrosting and the microwave works out how long it will take.
