Having never heard of the boomerang feature before, I love it it's a great idea and amazingly useful.
By boomerang, Sharp have developed a technology where by you put an item in the microwave say with a handle at the front, put the microwave on and when its finished hey presto the handles at the front again.
Two handles at each side and yes thats where they finish.
Add this to the looks and ease of use and this microwave is a real winner, it amazes me how these little advances make life so much easier.
