A good microwave that fits into small corner spaces

All my friends have thought this was a television and not a microwsve!

I bought this when I had my son as needed something to be able to defrost frozen purée when weaning.
I have never had a microwave before as have never felt the need but I have now embraced its usage.

The biggest benefit of this microwave is the size. It is compact and square fronted, it fits best in a corner. It is quite deep but fits neatly in. It has a 28cm turntable. It is quite short as you can't fit a carton of coventry garden soup in it, height wise! It has a 13 litre capacity. It has seven power levels and goes up to 900w.

You get a bottle holder which I did use on a few occasions which stops the bottle having as many hot spots by suspending it. You also get as standard a really good steaming basket, for vegetables etc and this worked brilliantly. I could steam vegetables for purée very quickly and efficiently. It has preset steam settings for different items and the instruction book is very clear about which setting to use.

It has a jet defrost function but I have never used this as am vegetarian and nothing veggie really needs this.

I have had this for nearly two and a half years and my only grumble is about the coating of the buttons, in that it has flaked off a lot of them, which is disappointing. I have not used any harsh cleaners on it so don't know why this has occurred, it now makes the unit look scruffy so I will be looking to change it shortly.

      Very easy to use, reliable.

This is a fab retro looking microwave it is very compact and light easily moved and has a convenient plate rest on top to put your dish on either before or after you've used the microwave and have something else to go in. Although the microwave is only 750 watt (I had previously been used to 1000watt I was a little concerned) it is great as all packaging is guided for this heat range so makes it ideal to get things to perfection. The interal area dosn't look particularly big but due to it's rounded housing it will acommodate everything you could get into a conventional square style with less waisted area. It has a speed defrost button that I use a lot it is twice as quick as the usual defrost a pack of 4 chicken breast used to take me 6 mins before now it takes 2 1/2 mins. I actually have the max 25 model which comes with a special steam container to steam veg. Meat and fish it's fab I use it all the time, you weigh your veg add a small cup of water this comes with the microwave and select the type of food and weight and it decides the length of time. Love it and would recommend it to anyone easy to use.
