      Got a graphics card from cclcomputers, worked fine for 2 years then stopped working.No big a deal, these things happen, I thought, I contacted ccl with warranty card in hand wanting to return it.They would refuse to change it because it they said it only had a 2 year warranty.BULLCRAP the warranty slip in my hand told me it was a 3 year warranty.I contacted asus who changed the card no worries.I phoned ccl computers to tell them and they were still adamant my card was out of warranty.Don't trust them, If I never contacted asus it would have cost me another 250 quid to replace.The company seemed appealing as the prices were competitive, plus they accepted paypal, something I think is handy for purchasing items online, But the customer service leaves something to be desired

      One of the worst and least reliable companies!!! For information on availability of products do not have nothing to do with reality. So I really do not recommend!!!Now I am a really concerned about my refund , how long it's gonna take? :(((

      Poor customer service & attitude :-(

      Having waited in all day for my 'next day' delivery from www.cclonline.com I was becoming slightly suspicious at around 4:45 that all was not well. And yes, it wasn't. Despite when placing the order, picking up the phone and speaking to a human being and specifically paying for the next day service, CCL Computers Ltd. were "sorry" that something had gone wrong and the order wasn't shipped.

      I've paid £5.99 for 'next day' and the item hasn't turned up so I get on the phone (twice, I as disconnected on the first attempt...Gggrrrr.) and explain that I want my £5.99 refunded and to compensate me for being incarcerated all day, I requested next day earliest couriered delivery possible so I didn't waste any more of my time. They agreed to this but not to refund the £5.99 as this was to be an "upgraded" service. Bearing in mind that they have so far failed to provide ANY service except to take my money I thought this a little rich and so I will think tw
      ice before using www.cclonline.com again...

      A wasted day waiting in for a non-existent parcel (for which I have just paid £5.99 for the privilege), still no PC and wait in again tomorrow in case it turns up. Well done www.cclonline.com for your incompetence and failure to see it from the customer's view.

      Just thought I would share my experience in case anyone else was thinking of using the services of www.cclonline.com.

      Thought it was a one off when I received a pre-opened and used GTX 460 graphics card back in March (which also turned out to be an inferior model to the version advertised). I would have returned, but didn't want to be without a machine for 1-2 weeks. Unfortunately my brother has just received ANOTHER pre-opened graphics card (a KFA2 580 this time) - the security seal was broken and the card appears to be faulty (constant crashes, display artefacts), so was presumably returned as faulty then re-sold.Massively unimpressed by service to-date. They often stock too good to be true deals that are £10-£20 cheaper than a professional outfit like Scan.co.uk (daily deals are good!), but I'm realising this is false economy and possibly even fraudulent. It's possible it's a sub-supplier that's at fault, but 2 refurbs-as-new in the space of a few months is utterly appalling.

      Bought another laptop from them sometime ago for £1000. Works fine but kept coming up as "Joe's Computer". Wrote and asked them if this was a used, refurbished item twice. No reply. Left it as it seems to work OK. Looking and comparing prices with other sites and they are way too expensive. Never again and certainly wouldn't recommend.

      I ordered the components of my new PC at this shop. First I was a bit sceptic as the products were really cheap. I placed my order on Saturday afternoon. As I didn't really bothered paying extra for delivery I chose the option "Budget 5+" which doesn't cost anything. I got the order 4 days after on the next wednesday. Effectively it took 2 working days which I found really impressive! Also they sent me the CORRECT components, which might seem obvious but some online computer retailers don't actually send the right things...

      Dealt with CCL for the first time recently and ordering and delivery was good, however two components of the 3 failed in a matter of days these were returned and a refund requested, this request was ignored and the two components replaced.One component, the replacement motherboard, was built into a system and promptly failed again but this time despite several attempts to request an RMA my emails were consistently ignored.I would suggest anyone considering buying from them think beyond the initial cheap price because if things go wrong you could be stuck with an expensive door stop or two.

      Good website but poor after sales. Should advise if 3-4 days delivery upfront.

      I wish I had seen this site before I ordered a new WebCam.

      It did not come next day and had the same issues with customer service as others have. Unhelpful, never ring back etc.

      Did find out though that if in stock at local depot they come out same day but if they are coming from the manufacturers they could take several days so worthwhile asking this before ordering and paying for next day.

      I caught them out by asking for the name of the courier and the tracking number so I could check for myself. At this point they admitted that it had not yet been despatched. Try this if they are giving you the run around.

      I have eventually received my webcam ( thru Parcelforce not City-Link as advised !!! ) but not happy with all the hassle that went with it so won't use CCL again :-(

        Do you like good customer service?If you have a problem with a product would you like to be dealt with by professional friendly staff?Do you want your product returned in a reasonable length of time if it goes faulty?Do you like sale people who know their products, or would you like someone to sell you something you don't want or need?If so please please look else where CCL Computer's have without doubt the worst aftersales support of any company I have ever had to deal with. The girl who works in customer service is without doubt the worst, if she worked for me and spoke to my customers the way she did to customers today I'd sack her on the spot.CCL very very poor

        I have ordered from this company in the past but always collected items from their trade counter as I only live 8 miles away, usually they have been very good. On this occassion I used their next day delivery which was scheduled for 6th Jan, it's currently 11th Jan and am still waiting, which in my view is unacceptable. I asked for a refund of delivery charge but customer service was terrible and I didn't get much help. I needed one item urgently and probably won't order from them again unless I can collect the items.

        if you are prepared to gamble on your system then this company is ok.

        Hi I have used this company and at first they are good but if you ever rely on them to do send you anything on time don't. This company is unreliable and take money from your account even though they haven't got any stock. Also don't rely on them when they say they have any item in stock as they tell lies and then try to cover it up. I have been in the computer industry for many years and I have never told a customer that I could do something then let them knowingly down. This company makes a living from charging you for products that it knows it does not have in stock, it then promises you that that item will be delivered within 24 hours again it knows it cannot deliver until it has stock of the product. Most companies will not charge your account (credit card) until the product is ready to dispatch to you.

        Now we come to the quality of advice you receive from them, I have read and spoken to just a few of their customers who have been sold equipment that should work only to find out that the advice CCL gave was incorrect and did in fact damage their equipment. The people who work at CCL Computers are not professional, they don't have one qualification between them or they would not let this happen. Now you have to ask why they are doing this to their customers. I can only guess that they have no regard for anyone but the wages they make at the end of the week.

        I have lost money because of this company they have told me I would get next day delivery when they have not even got the item in stock. This will never happen again as I have barred them on my system and I am now stopping them from using all the systems I administer by putting them on the restricted site list, this way they will not do to the people I work for.

        THIS COMPANY IS UNRELIABLE AND TELL LIES.

        i ordered a new case on the 7/9/2010. paid for next day delivery. took the money fine without problems. received an email saying expected delivery on the 8th. no case, emailed them, no reply. phoned them today, they told me that they just got the stock today and i should receive it tomorrow. their service is terrible and i will not order from them again. when i pay for next day, i expect to get it. i will be contacting trading standards about this to help protect others. i would not recommend them to anyone.

        I made a mistake you don''t have to!

        Some time ago I bought high end (best they offered) gaming computer from CCL Computers (CCL Hustler Xi Quadfather - Intel® CoreTM 2 Quad Q9550 Quad Core CPU (x4 2.83GHz) 4GB of Corsair Dominator 1066MHz (2x 2GB) ATi Radeon HD4870X2 (2GB) 3...)

        Unfortunately as I soon realise CCL online uses incompatible parts to make their high end expensive computers or gaming machines. Therefore you get the product that just doesn't work or brakes a lot, what happened to me.

        I would also advise against purchasing the insurance cover from them as the technical support is ridiculous. Banks or internet providers have more competent people working. For example their technical support just doesn't listen. You are asked the same question or given the same advice over and over again and treated very rudely.

        On top of that add all the waiting on the phone, luck of the response... believe me it's just not worth your time and nerves.

        Great customer service, shame about City-Link (their couriers)

        I ordered a new netbook from these guys, and initially I was wary about their couriers (who are City-Link, and utterly useless). I notified them when ordering, that I have had multiple problems with City-Link in the past.

        They spoke to City-Link for me, and got an assurance that they'd be there on the specified delivery day. Of course, that day came and went, and City-Link once again failed to turn up. I was then unable to receive the second delivery (some of us can't take multiple days off).

        Having warned CCL of the likely problems with delivery before hand, the second they failed to deliver I notified CCL. They gave City-Link a kick up the behind for me, but to no avail. City-Link were adamant they were going to charge for not turning up. In the end CCL very kindly agreed to cover the cost of delivery with an alternative courier.

        The problems I experienced with this company were in no way related to CCL at all - they were all due to City-Link. The support team there were fantastic, extremely professional, very helpful, and very friendly. For that reason I have to give them 5 out of 5.

        I have requested that they start offering the choice of courier when ordering. I do very much hope that happens!

        Wouldn't have a problem ordering from them again!

        Two months I've been waiting for my notebook to have been returned after sending it off for speaker and battery issues---10 days ago I got and email to say that ASUS has confirmed the repair successful, thus was being dispatched back to CCL for them to return it back to me...7 days later still no notebook, I send another email...Today I get a reply to say that my notebook has been lost in transit, but don't worry...we'll give you a full refund!...Nearly two years of photos, documents, personal information etc etc has mysteriously dissapeared...Awful company who could care less about their customers and have a complete shortfall of anything relating to customer service.
