CCL Computers

I was looking to buy a new laptop as my current one was getting a little old. CCL are basically an online specialist for computers, laptops and computer components and peripherals. I was also impressed as they claim to be an award winning company. Although the prices at CCL are quite attractive, the stark reality is a very poor level of service and is really not worth the hassle. I placed an order for my laptop very early on a thursday morning with a supposed guarenteed next day delivery for which I paid a premium. AVOID CCL AT ALL COSTS,I purchased a computer from them 3 months ago,it developed a fault 2 days after receiving it.Returned said laptop using there returns service and thats the last I have seen off it.
They do not reply to emails,phone calls or recorded letters.I have Trading standards on the case and they cannot get through to them.They have my money and my computer.No good having cheap products with no after sales service,like I say avoid at all costs
Better to pay a bit extra and get better service.

ordered an item on 26 Dec, which was shown as instock. Expected delivery Jan 4th. On the 6th I get email that item is out of stock and on order. They send it out on 13th when I was at work. Tried again next day. This time they left a calling card for me to arrange a new delivery. I arranged it for the Fri and took the day off work to be there. Item doesn't get delivered. I call delivery company to see what's going on. Turns out CCL have to approve the redelivery, and the courier company is waiting for them to call. Everything was fine when they were taking my money and up to the point where my hard drive failed a week after I made the purchase. I had a deluge of Argumentative customer services employing the blame game, that is everybody else but themselves to blame. I still havent resolved the issue after many promises and denials 4 months later. This is over £40. I have now gone to Ebuyer and believe me this is a refreshing change from what I experienced at CCL. Avoid like the Plague!!!!!!!!!!

CCL computers are a disgrace. How they can be online retailer of the year is a mystery. They took my money but the goods 3 weeks later have not been sent. They do not respond to e mails. I have asked Google Checkout for their help but CCL have not answered them either. Although they may be cheaper than other retailers do yourself a favour a pay the extra elsewhere as if like me its been a very expensive mistake to use CCL
