Hopeless customer service (CCL Computers)

We ordered a pre-built system from CCL, it arrived the next day and lasted 2 weeks before the hard drive failed. That I can accept as these things happen, what was totally unacceptable was their 'customer service' afterwards. It is the worst customer service I have ever experienced. Promises are made and not kept, I lost count of the amount of times I was assured someone would call me back and then didn't. I had to call CCL on countless occasions simply to ask them to send our details to the company that deals with the warranties (something that should have been done when we bought the system)

Then, despite repeated requests from the warranty company they failed to send out a new hard drive. They ignore any emails or letters, their customer service people will seemingly tell you anything on the phone regardless of whether or not it has any relation to reality. I think after sales service is as important for any company as pre-sales service and on this score CCL fail miserably. Once they have your money they don't want to know.
