Whilst other E-tailers seemed to flounder during the pre-Christmas period of 2001, the order I placed with Crucial was by far the best service I received during this period, possibly ever.

I must have placed about 10 orders during the run up to Christmas 2001, all of them with a different e-tailers. Some of them performed well, some very well. Other performed badly, and others shockingly very badly! But one stood out above all others ? Crucial Technology.

I placed my order at 1pm on the Thursday, and received it 9am the next day. I didn?t pay extra for this service, and didn?t request it but it was still mightily impressive. Unfortunately my order with them was not for a Christmas present, it was for me, so speed was not vital on this occasion, but most welcome all the same.

If the speed of the delivery doesn?t impress you, (and you could argue that maybe they were less busy during Christmas than other more gift related e-tailers) let me add that I paid the cheapest price I could find by £3 out of about 10 other retailers. The package was well wrapped, and with clear and easy to follow documentation.

I will not hesitate to use them again. My only criticism is that they don?t have a larger product range, because if they did, I wouldn?t shop anywhere else!
