Delivery was very rapid and because it was during the winter snows and the PC had to be delivered to Scotland they phoned regularly to keep me informed of when it would arrive. The machine has worked perfectly except when a modem failed. That was replaced by return post. If I have had any query they have spent whatever time is necessary to talk me through the issue. Was influenced to write this review after reading the post of corm0 who it appears has had unfortunate dealings with Gladiator Computers. Without seeking to negate his experience I thought as a matter of balance I should also outline my experience because it has been wholly different. Am not a techie. Was therefore a bit uncertain about buying a Pc on-line – integrity of vendor, hassle and expense of returning it if faulty etc. Read all the mags and on-line reviews I could find and Gladiator seemed to come out well. I bought a NEC dvd writer in February of this year with Gladiator Computers,received it the next day all was fine until the dvd laser part of the writer "died",I informed Gladiator Computers by e-mail and was told to pay the postage (it had to be registered at a cost to me of £6.55p) to return the dvd writer for it to be "checked" to see if it was actually faulty,I had to e-mail them to ask if it had been "checked" they replied it was faulty,and they would be sending it to THE MANUFACTURER for it to be checked and for them to decide whether to repair or replace it. Shopping on the net has its ups and downs, but every now and again you find a good site that you are happy to recommend and for me Gladiator Computers have impressed me with their service so much that I would be happy to recommend them, and since I feel so many web companies lack this quality of service I think its worth a mention.
