Shopping on the net has its ups and downs, but every now and again you find a good site that you are happy to recommend and for me Gladiator Computers have impressed me with their service so much that I would be happy to recommend them, and since I feel so many web companies lack this quality of service I think its worth a mention.
First up I would like to say that too many companies ignore their emails, I have found from other stores that emails either take several days to get answered, or more than likely are not answered at all. These guys at Gladiator got back to me within 2 hours with a few techie questions I had about compatability of the the products I was interested in. What was also nice was that it was a personal email, not one of these auto things, and it seemed to be written by someone who knew what they were talking about, that always helps.
My second point is delivery, Ok they didn't have an online stock indication but the goods still managed to arrive next day, and considering I placed my order at 3PM I thought that was top form.
I was very happy with my purchase, and have been back since to get a Liteon 16X DVD drive from them, although I have had no need for technical support as such (my items worked fine after install) I have phoned up to ask advice on CDRW's and was more than happy with what was on offer.
Fair play to these guys for a good site and some quality service to back it up. Give them a try as compared to some of the other giant retailers out there I think that the price and the service will give you a pleasant surprise.
