Advantages: they have good systems (for way too much)

Hewlett-packard are ridiculous, not only do they give you faulty hardware most of the time, when you call where you got it from they know nothing at all, and say call the company(Hewlett-Packard) then you call the company and they insult you by saying "is it plugged in?" (read as a baby sitter of a two year old). When they've stopped insulting you they say call where you bought it and then give you the "please hold followed by wrong button disconect" when you try to complain.

So you call back the company (in our case tempo whom I will rant about another day) and the circle goes on. Eventually the guy at the store (invariably called steve (no offence to other steves out there it's just that the managers are always called steve and almost always incompetent)) says call this other number, you call it and they (on a 30p a minute line) tell you to call a 60p a minute line! where you are put on hold for at least quarter of an hour (happened to me every time) so that is already £9 to find out why your printer cuts out after quarter of an hour of being plugged in! (in the end we got the cable to our printer replace 5 times! and it was the printer that was faulty!)
the thech guys there don't know a damm thing either! They never take products down in price and three days after we got our £1,500 they put a better one up for the same amount and disontinued the model we have so the tech guys at Hewlett know even less! (a very difficult thing)

I have finished my little rant now, to sum it up, if you are thinking about getting a Hewlett-Packard, don't, get anything else instead (preferably a mac - they actually work!)
