The notebook in question the MD41567 in my opinion is a high specification PC at an affordable price. What you get for your £1000 is a 3.06 mobile Pentium processor, 60 gigabyte Toshiba hard drive, 512 DDR RAM, GeForce FX 5350 graphics card, DVD/RW, Wi Fi, TV capture card with remote control, Fire Wire, 4x USB, 3in1 card reader, PC card slot, infrared, 15 inch XVG screen and a software package that includes Works 2004, Nero 6, Pinnacle, Home Cinema and of coarse Windows XP Home. I would agree with the previous reviewer that the build quality is of a standard that you would expect of a budget laptop, the case is made of plastic that would not stand up to any abuse and the notebook I have does have one dead pixel. That said though I would recommend this PC to anyone because for the specification and software pack (all discs included even XP) you can?t go wrong. The company that manufactures these Laptops is of coarse Medion a German company that has a base in Britain, allowing any queries or returns to be handled quickly and efficiently. The MD41567 that I have in my possession is in actual fact a replacement product for a Medion Laptop I purchased last year which became faulty and could not be repaired. When this became apparent to Medion that the part was now not available, The MD41567 was sent express delivery and to my surprise was of a far higher specification to my faulty one. So if you find yourself in the market for a high spec notebook and don?t want to pay what the big boys charge then the MD41567 could be for you
