Faulty goods and no suitable plan for a solution (Mesh Computers)

Advantages: One of the cheapest we found

Just started the return of a Mesh, high-end gaming PC. Arrived on schedule but didn't work. Their staff tried to be helpful but couldn't resolve problem. During the process they asked me to open case, re-seat boards which I did. Then I found that internal build quality was poor: the extent CPU fan was not attached to heat sink! disk drive mounted incorrectly in media bays. Final straw was telling me that they only could offer the base system to return to factory, 5 days turnaround min. If the monitor which came with package was at fault that I had to work with Iiyama to get it replaced! Faulty system delivery is bad enough but not being able to provide a proper replacement service or plan is far, far worse. Given that this was a present, I relunctantly decided that this plus the build quality concerns means that it is going back with mental note not to do business with Mesh again.

Summary: Low cost does not mean good value
