Having read numerous posts re Mesh's customer service and delivery shortcomings I was a bit dubious of ordering from them but decided to give them the benefit of the doubt and place an order.

My hope was that the good old human nature issue of posting about problems but keeping quiet on the good points was creating a bad reputation for Mesh and that everything would be fine.. Unfortunately, it turns out the posts are true, there are no good points and the fact that I was well armed with previous reviewers updates meant I kept a VERY close eye on my order and its status.

Everything was fine, initially but the order appeared to sit at 'Parts allocated awaiting production' for ages. A phone call later I was given teh excuse ' Its a custom built system and will take a few days to assemble and test'. fair enough. Bare bones device with a couple of extra parts, no problem.

Two days later, no update. Another phone call and 'Its in production, it will be shipped later this week'. Excellent.. Smiley faces and looking forward to my new machine.

End of week arrives, no machine, status still the same.. Another phone call and lo and behold, the familiar CPU stock issue appears.. Apparently the dont have stock of the processor which is strange as the system was built around a bare bones machine from stock and the processor want being changed.

Seeing this a a red flag , I immediately cancelled the order and I'm now in the refund loop. The good news is I used a credit card and will start the dispute action if the refund takes more than the 7 days they quoted, as well as charge them back accordingly for my own time to chase and any interest.

Bottom line. If you decide to give Mesh a go, be prepared. Read some reviews and stay on them. Dont wait for them to contact you, call, e-mail and call again until you get a result. Best option is to go elsewhere and leave well alone
