Some low price entry level kit, and eclectic bargains to be had (Morgan computers)
Member Name: Bobelinks
Advantages: End of line stock means tried and tested stuff, usually well reviewed Disadvantages: Lowest spec PCs aren't the greatest value for money, but if it's all you can afford I've bought a PC (refurbished), laser printer (new stock, discontinued range), smaller hardware items and software from Morgan and have always been pleased with the customer service. When they sent the wrong software out they arranged for the wrong one to be collected when they sent out the new stuff, at no extra charge to me. Some of their PCs aren't actually that good value for money, but they do offer a low entry price if you don't need the latest spec kit, as well as the chance to get some unusual or heavily discounted kit, keep checking their site as bargains can be found. "Refurbished" at least they are honest about it unlike high st shops which sell customer returns without telling you. If you buy at their shop they're happy for you to open boxes (ask first!) and read the manuals before buying and are always v helpful. Ask nicely, and you might get a free memory/processor upgrade or similar. Summary: Reputable and reliable company to deal with, make sure what you are buying is what you want |
