PC World:
... reason that most of you don t - appalling customer service. When I do buy at PC World it has to be something that is unlikely ever to go wrong and at a very good price, not something you re often likely to find here, or else in an emergency, when there is really no other option. The former is represented by my purchase of a Sandisk Cruzer Titanium 8GB thumb drive for around £15. This was, at the time, an except... Aria Technology ... bought my motherboard and RAM from this Company due to another store being sold out over the Christmas period. So I look online at what looks like a great website but that s where the good points go. They are very quick to sell you the products and deliver them but when things go wrong then that s a different story. Having bought from 2 places for my PC I initially take the PC to a busy computer store and the Technician happily looks at it as a goodwill gesture knowing that I didn t buy the motherboard from there. He see s that it wasn t working properly and said it s best to go to aria with motherboard only. So I get to aria and the technician greets me with an upsid... PC World ... World ripped me off £2000 and rising £10/month losing broadband I have no pc to use! They sold me a lap top that was not what the sales ticket said and doesn t do what the staff, the sales ticket or the machine states! PC World have refused to refund me. I have requested a prosecution from Trading Standards and requested a compensation order to recover my losses. I visited PC World Selly Oak, Birmingham December 2007 in search of an entertainment and business lap top. I wanted to teach myself how to use the business programs I have at work to help me pursue promotion. A PC World member of staff sold me a Dragon HP laptop promising 4GB Ram, Genuine Business Vista,... PC World ... (and heard of many dealings) with pc world. PC world, along with Dixons and Currys, are owned by DSG International Plc. The group in its latest accounts recorded a loss of over £140 million, which I find so extraordinary when you bear in mind that between the three of them, they hold so much of the electronics market in the UK. I have alawys found PC world extremely expensive compared to other retailers, especially with those online. I have bought components for computers which are readily available online at a massive 90% reduction of what PC world charge. Other components and cables I have bought have also been a fraction of the price. That is why I can t under... Read the full review: Hello Hello Hello PC World by stebiz |
