Overclockers UK (Esnet Ltd)Newest Review: ... recieved. In my case refund quickly given without even letting me know they found a fault, no replacement offered, to replace it would cost me twice the original price. From £65 originally to £120ish to replace, in under 2 months, reason given, 'ram prices are increasing'. They wanted an extra 60 quid to replace an item I got from them that did not work !! In short, item refunded, then ... more |

3 of us built new pc's, all hardware from overclockers.( around 2.5k total spent). All 3 had faulty Corsair Dominator ram, what's the odds of that happening? Very suspicious. I am now doubtful as to the 'newness' of any of the items we recieved. Overclockers is a website that is dedicated to all things to do with computers. This website was suggested to me by my step-dad and the added bonus for us is that they are only just up the road. They sell pretty much anything you can think of to do with computers from processors, fans, memory to CDs and DVDs. They even have a section of pre-built machines if your not comfortable at building your own however, these are "standard" build machines, unlike Dell where you can customise as you go along, however, they will if not too much of an issue be able to add or change something for you. The key thing when it comes to computer bits and ... Read the complete review

2 orders in the space of 2 weeks not despatched for devlivery even though I ran to check that they would as I had taken the time off. Same excuse as other people have found, stock show 10+ but they have gone missing.
CPU fan £20 arrived not working, rang up and they said to send back as it was a common fault, which I did at £4.50. They claimed it was not faulty and charged me £10 testing fee and £10 shipping and sent to an address I could not collect from.
Rang up to complain and they said the fan casing/mechanism was lose and needed pushing back together for the fan to work... THATS a repair not a test and the item arrived faulty on delivery. Not answered my complaints, webnotes and posts on the forums SHOCKING, do not deal with this company.

What a terrible experience with OverClockers....
I ordered two times for a saturday delivery, one arrived, the other didn't.
The item that did arrive was business-critical, otherwise I would have ordered it through DELL at a lesser cost. In any case, the item that did arrive was not fit for purpose (supplied with a non-UK cable).
I contacted OC, to complain on monday, nothing... Then I wrote again on tuesday, but still no response.
I called on Wednesday to be spun a yarn or two, and when I asked to be directed to the Department dealing with refunds, I was asked to call back as the phones don't handle internal transfers - yeah right!
The person whom I managed to speak to was rude, vile, and hanged up.
I'm now going to take further action, because this isn't reasonable or fair service.
AVOID AT ALL COSTS!

What can I say about OCUK! I have to say I'm rather shocked reading the many negative reviews. I have to be honest and say I have only ever had brilliant service. They post out very quickly, packaging is great and never received a DOA item yet. MY one time experience of their RMA service was painless and easy, with a quick turn around. One thing to be said about OCUK is that they are not usually the cheapest internet supplier in the UK. They price competitively most of the time but some times they are quite expensive. Place like eBuyer, Scan etc are usually a few quid cheaper. One of the best things about OCUK is the website. Looks great ... Read the complete review
