Advantages: Fast shipping, great price, quick response from customer service

I was surprised to read all the negative feedback about the customer service at OverClockers so I wanted to share my own experience.

When I needed some RAM for my motherboard, Corsair was recommended to me in a forum and I found it cheapest at OverClockers. It was a matched pair of DDR2 PC2-6400 1GB sticks. They had it cheaper than anywhere else, for the same kit.

I ordered it pretty late in the afternoon, but it still arrived the following day without any problems. Unfortunately one of the sticks were dead on arrival, the system wouldn't boot when it was in. So I wrote an RMA note with their WebNotes system to that effect. Within an hour I had received an RMA number and instructions where to send it, I sent it straight away (this was a Thursday), the next day they confirmed they had received it and Monday a replacement was shipped, which I received Tuesday. The new kit was working of course, and I was quite happy with the service.

Summary: Great price, quick RMA turnaround

You should have stopped at the part where you received the faulty goods like so many other people have. They seem to be SO UNLUCKY in this respect compared to other retailers.

I suggest you try actually ringing their staff as that is when they get rude.
