Advantages: In store and online they have the knowledge to help

Overclockers is a website that is dedicated to all things to do with computers. This website was suggested to me by my step-dad and the added bonus for us is that they are only just up the road.

They sell pretty much anything you can think of to do with computers from processors, fans, memory to CDs and DVDs. They even have a section of pre-built machines if your not comfortable at building your own however, these are "standard" build machines, unlike Dell where you can customise as you go along, however, they will if not too much of an issue be able to add or change something for you.

The key thing when it comes to computer bits and pieces is price and overclockers is great, yes somethings are more expensive than other sites but most are not and its a definate improvement on the likes of PC World, which if I had my way would be banned.

I have ordered several things off the website and never had any issues with delivery or faulty goods. Though I'm sure there will come a day. The added advantage that I have is if I need something quickly and they have it in stock I can go and see them.

The unit they have isn't very clearly labelled, just a sign in the window but once inside you are greeted by a counterservice style and a person who will be able to look up on the computer what you are looking for. Invariably this means that they are checking their own website so if you are ordering off the site it gives you confidence in their stock level accuracy.

Each time I have been up to see them the staff have been polite and extremely helpful they are all techy people and have the knowledge, which I tend to find lacking in places like PC World, to be able to give you the best advice on what you are looking for or need.

Overall I think Overclockers is great and their staff are extremly helpful as I live close by I don't tend to get things delivered but when I have they have arrived on time and working.
