3 of us built new pc's, all hardware from overclockers.( around 2.5k total spent). All 3 had faulty Corsair Dominator ram, what's the odds of that happening? Very suspicious. I am now doubtful as to the 'newness' of any of the items we recieved. In my case refund quickly given without even letting me know they found a fault, no ... Read the complete review

Overclockers is a website that is dedicated to all things to do with computers. This website was suggested to me by my step-dad and the added bonus for us is that they are only just up the road. They sell pretty much anything you can think of to do with computers from processors, fans, memory to CDs and DVDs. They even have a ... Read the complete review

2 orders in the space of 2 weeks not despatched for devlivery even though I ran to check that they would as I had taken the time off. Same excuse as other people have found, stock show 10+ but they have gone missing.
CPU fan £20 arrived not working, rang up and they said to send back as it was a common fault, which I did at £4.50. They claimed it was not faulty and charged me £10 testing fee and £10 shipping and sent to an address I could not collect from.
Rang up to complain and they said the fan casing/mechanism was lose and needed pushing back together for the fan to work... THATS a repair not a test and the item arrived faulty on delivery. Not answered my complaints, webnotes and posts on the forums SHOCKING, do not deal with this company.

What a terrible experience with OverClockers....
I ordered two times for a saturday delivery, one arrived, the other didn't.
The item that did arrive was business-critical, otherwise I would have ordered it through DELL at a lesser cost. In any case, the item that did arrive was not fit for purpose (supplied with a non-UK cable).
I contacted OC, to complain on monday, nothing... Then I wrote again on tuesday, but still no response.
I called on Wednesday to be spun a yarn or two, and when I asked to be directed to the Department dealing with refunds, I was asked to call back as the phones don't handle internal transfers - yeah right!
The person whom I managed to speak to was rude, vile, and hanged up.
I'm now going to take further action, because this isn't reasonable or fair service.
AVOID AT ALL COSTS!

What can I say about OCUK! I have to say I'm rather shocked reading the many negative reviews. I have to be honest and say I have only ever had brilliant service. They post out very quickly, packaging is great and never received a DOA item yet. MY one time experience of their RMA service was painless and easy, with a quick turn ... Read the complete review

The site is well laid out and yes it is easy to buy from them. Their customer service is polite but slow and generally unhelpful. Their phone numbers are a rip-off (all 0871 11p per minute). They have no email system for customers to use. Web note systems are not responded to at management level for 4 weeks or more. At non ... Read the complete review

*Customer Service* Customer Service is an absolutely invaluable part of the Overclockers company, they have a landline which when you search on Saynoto0870.com can be used for technical/sales/aftersales (01782 339616). They answer the phone promptly and professionally and deal with every query or problem in brisk and well mannered way. ... Read the complete review

I have made multiple orders with Overclockers UK, and have never experienced any of the terrible service that others describe. Only on one occasion have I spoken to the OCUK customer service staff, and found them efficient and helpful. I had two orders combined, delivery rescheduled and even managed to get a better price on a component whose price ... Read the complete review

Absolutely dreadful dreadful company. I've been supplied a PC that does not work and cannot get any response from customer services after 3 weeks of trying.
Now looking at legal action.
Avoid like the plague.

Sent poorly packaged hard disk drive, which was damaged in the post, that failed after 2 weeks (120+ hours of use). Supplied B-grade hard disk drive as replacement, in another crushed box (which they say also occured in the post, seems to happen a lot with them!). Refuted 1979 sale of goods act and office of fair trading guidelines. Refused to replace like-for-like.
Suggest consumers aviod/boycott this company. Please report all infractions by this company to the office of fair trading. Am attempting to get a suitable replacement. Will go to court, if required.

Excellent company, orders are always despatched speedily and arrive when they say they will. You might find components slightly cheaper elsewhere, but the price difference is minimal at most, and hardly worth mentioning. The superior customer support they offer offsets this different in price by far. Exremeley wide selection of products, if you can't find something on OcUK then you will struggle to find it elsewhere.
The people saying this company is poor are people who are most likely too incompetent to build their own computer, and as such should not be let any where near this company. End of.

***avoid using this company, they are a bunch of cowboys***
I bought a graphics card from them which was faulty, (i had it independently tested). They sent it back to me and charged me £20 stating they had tested it . I phoned but was told I couldnt speak to anyone regarding a complaint, they mysteriously had not received the 2 webnote complaints despite their automatic replys saying that they had. They then sent me a note (unsigned) accusing me of lying about the fault. Their 'test report' was shoddy at best and appeared to be written by a twelve year old.
Dont stand for this terrible service, remember your rights as a consumer. They rely on people giving up on a complaint and the doubts caused by 'compatability issues', they cannot sell you faulty goods and get away with it, I will take them to court if neccessary.

Do not use this site if you want good customer service.
Their returns policy is rediculous, and sent my faulty graphics card back to me, AND took £20 out of my account without telling me!
Also their prices are high, and almost everything can be picked up cheaper elsewhere.
Honestly THE WORST customer service i have ever come across.
DO NOT USE!
Their delivery procedure is also rubbish, two of my orders(last orders i make) were dispatched either the wrong day, or not at all! I doubt I'll ever use them again, as they couldn't care less about their customers.

I have been purchasing PC components from ocuk for the past 2 years and decided to buy a full set of components to put together a system about a year ago. I constructed it wrong, hands up, and after numerous RMA's and replacements and lots of wasted money replacing components, I finally just sent the system to them and asked them to fix all of the ... Terrible company.
Ignore customers with problems, have a free phone sales line and a premium rate support line, send faulty equipment back to you with no explanation.
If you have any problems you will end up very out of pocket, avoid!

OCUK are a complete lottery to deal with: you never know if you will get the sent the item you actually ordered (or if it will work) and if you dare to raise an RMA expect 2 responses: 2) None until the 7 days of the distance regulation act have passed (real cute of them to pull that stunt)
and 2) Only be given the manufacturers contact details as OCUK will completely wash their hands of you.
If you do get what you ordered (and it works), thats great, you won at the overclockers infamous lottery game.
If you dont...Well, you were warned.

Rude and Unpleasant - deliberately. Had to query postage with Overclockers Uk - a common experience. 3 days later got a response telling me they had sold out of the 2 items and they couldn't weigh them? I have been a loyal, LOYAL, customer of Overclockers for several years until this month. Having spent over £10,000 in the last 3 years, and £4,000 since Christmas I think I am entitled to some good customer service. I have never needed to RMA until now. I purchased 3 watercooled BFG graphics cards for circa £1,000 to build a monster system. All 3 ... Read the complete review
