Disadvantages: Faulty products, No after sales/care/help. They dont want to know if you have a problem.

PC World....

You would do best to avoid this store at all costs. I purchased a Laptop from them 4 weeks ago. For the last week i have been having sound problems (the sound stops working after 5 to 20 mins).

After calling their technical line god knows how many times (yes, i was on the telephone for the best part of 5 hours in total) and being told to try this and try that, i was then asked what security software i was running.

I told them it was Norton - as recommended by PC World sales staff.
The reply ? I was told that Norton should NOT be used on my make of laptop as it is a known thing with Norton in that it 'messes' up the laptop.

1 week on, my laptop still has no sound and have PC World offered to repair it ? NO. They do not want to know.

Aftersales/customer care/technical help is non existant at PC World, so think very hard before you go to them for a new PC.

My battle to get my laptop repaired continues......
