The computer's they sell are fairly reasonably priced

But theres a big warning...

PC world are 1 store where you've got to know what you're doing in!!! If you're not sure what you're doing in there please try to do some research first or take someone in who knows what they're doing!!!

Otherwise the salespeople will try and sell you loads of stuff you just don't need especially if they get a scent of you going in there and you're not sure of what you're looking for or how to set things up, its not for your benefit its for their commission!

I'm talking from experience as I was looking for something to wire up a cable capable of taking broadband up to my room. The PC world advisor tried to sell me a load of wireless crap worth over £100 that I simply did not need (esp as there's no plug socket near my home phone)!!! Instead I went to Comet and bought a 10m long broadband cable for £15!!!

Which do you think is the better deal???

In short PC world do sell PCs and laptops and other electrical items at good value but be careful - don't let their sales advisors take advantage of you and sell you crap like phone support for however much it is a month - so whats the 1 year warranty actually for then if things go wrong???
