Advantages: none
Disadvantages: Over powering, persistent, makes you feel rushed, don't have the stock in.
About 4 weeks ago I wanted to buy a new laptop. PC World had a lot of offers, so I thought I would try them first.
Inside the shop, a trainee assistant kept following me around asking "could he help?" I declined his offer (several times). After browsing through the display I selected the laptop I wanted. The sales man reappeared and tried to sell me the laptop that I had already selected, he then tried to sell me the insurance to go with it, spending about 10 mins (ignoring my no thank yous) explaining the virtues of the policy. Finally he gave up and went to find the laptop in the stockroom, coming back 15 mins later to tell me it isn't in stock and then tried to sell me the next model up for £150 more.
At this point I gave up and went across the road to Comet where they left me alone to make my choice, in 10 mins I was out of there with the laptop I wanted under my arm.
Summary: avoid
