The PC experts... I think not! (PC World)

Advantages: Big branches

Disadvantages: pushy staff, staff who don't know enough

If you were to believe the adverts you would expect PC word to be full of fantastic PC systems at bargain prices with the mosr knowledgeable staff.... well excuse me whil I dry my eyes from laughing and compose myself long enough to write this review.

Lets start with the positives... stores are often large and spacious store with a range of pcs, games and peripherals to choose from.... erm... well I think thats it for the positives!

On the occasions I have entered a PC world with a view to purchasing, I have found staff to be either overly pushy, trying to force customers into a sale or not very knowledgeable (understatment)... not good if you need specific advice on pc specifications! On one ocassion i had been looking for a wireless printer to use at home (admittedly at a time when they were relatively knew to the market) and had just viewed one in a rival electronics store. I askes a senior member in PC World if they had any.... and was told that there was no such thing!!!!

I am really not a fan (as you have probably guessed!) and would urge anyone to use PC World as a last resort!
