I just had to post here. I am a Full Time employee with PC World in Edinburgh. From what I've seen, people are continuosly basing their experience on certain stores. Employees dont get paid high, £6 odd an hour, no commission, barely any Bonus depending on sales targets. You will find that in General, the PC Performance package is great, you get your first month free, and its no Contract. In the first year, if anything technical goes wrong, we will repair. If Accidental, thats your problem, we didnt cause it. With PC Performance, its covered. To the person who said PC World can offer discounts, could be disciplined, or sacked for doing so. Unfair yes, but we make barely anything on Machines. The only bad thing? CA's have to meet Targets. PC Performance is good, prices are good. Not all staff are great, dont refer to us in General. Its unfair if you base your experience on one store, and blame the entire company in General. Generally, most PC World staff are not 'experts' because no self-respecting expert would take £6 an hour. If you asked someone in Tesco what a certain yoghurt contained, they would need to look at the lable, yes? So why slag us off for having to look at our labels. We sell hundreds of machines, and thousands of other items. Do you think we can remember every little thing? Summary: We arent as bad as everyone constantly says, wheres the good reviews? |
