Advantages: None whatsoever unless you enjoy getting angry and messed around!

Disadvantages: Everything - expensive/ awful service

Just to warn anyone you really should avoid PC World PC Performance agreements. I have had to send my laptop away for repair for the 3rd time within 6 months and it is currently still in their workshop. It has been with them for 4 weeks now and they have rang every Thursday for the last 3 weeks to tell me they are still waiting on a part. The 3 times it has been in for repair they have replaced the motherboard even though each time, doing this is clearly not fixing the problem with the laptop, the same problems reoccuring each time! I have been helpful in giving them detailed descriptions and even pictures of the problems each time but am now just completely fed up and extremely annoyed with it all! In effect, I have now been without a working laptop for 6 months and am paying £9.99 a month for the privelage! So when the laptop eventually is returned to me with yet another new motherboard I will not be able to rely on it at all as I will be waiting for the same problems to reoccur! The amount of money they have spent on labour and new parts could have paid for a new laptop! I'm cancelling this agreement as soon as I get a decent laptop back!
Basically, avoid them!

Summary: Do not buy a PC World PC Performance agreement!
