Advantages: None- ended up costing me double because of professional installation.

Disadvantages: Lack of aftercare. Poor service. Very rude manager in local store

Perfectly Crass World
Bought a new wireless printer with 'easy installation disc' and though it initially got a far as a test page the whole installation corrupted my computer software. I tried PC World blog who advised me to return the faulty machine but dealer said that it was a'software issue' and I needed to pay their tech guys £39 odd to fix it. As it was a wi-fi problem i.e. needed sorting en site this was not OK and required a home visit. My simple home installation took a professional over 2 hours to sort out and cost a lot. My second letter back from head office maintains that they do not state that items can be automatically home installed (disc and paperwork say otherwise) and , basically, to ...off. I will never use PC World again. They are rude , patronising and only out for your money. I have reported them to trading standards but don't hold out much hope
I would give them no stars at all
