Opposite my college lies one of the largest PC world stores in Cornwall. On many occasions me and my friends have crossed over the busy dual carriage way to browse the store bargains....However on every time I have visited PC World I have been disgraced. The shop employees poor staff who are badly trained. Once I asked the lady on the mobile desk about o2 network coverage and only to be told that she didn't have a clue and that I needed to travel to 'The Link' (part of their notorious company) to find out.

Also in this visit I attempted to buy a pay as you go mobile. I browsed their mobile section and selected my required phone. I then asked for assistance only then to be told that all pay as you go mobiles were out of stock and they only had 2 contract phones left in the entire store, how crap is that?

PC world supposedly offer great products at competitive prices. I now know this to be wrong. Once I purchased a Playstation 2 game for £39.99, which to my belief was the going rate for this title. When eventually the shop assistant returned from the warehouse around 10 minutes later I purchased the game. When I visited ‘amazon.co.uk’ the very same day I found the same PS2 title almost £10s cheaper. I at once tried to return the game but PC world would not accept any returns unless it was fault and even then only for vouchers or a replacement product.

In my opinion PC World is a cowboy organisation ran by people in suits with one thing on their mind….Next month’s profit margin. I feel that the directors need to reconsider the direction the company is heading quickly before they lose out all together.
