Advantages: Spacious store

Disadvantages: Prices, After sales, Staffs attitudes

I do not like PC World I think they are a big organisation just out to make a quick buck!! My mother recently purchased a computer off them despite my best efforts to get her to shop elsewhere. She told me she was buying it from PC World PC of their great after sales support. When we got home we found that the operating system was incompletely installed it had half of it missing and it kept crashing. We took it straight back to the shop for repair.

When we got there the salesman reported to us that the operating system was a software problem and this was not covered in our guarantee as it must have been our fault!! Even thought we bought a system that we thought would be preinstalled with a FULL version of Windows.

We later found that the model we were sold was ex-display and had not been wiped before we were given it!!

After half an hour of solid complaining we left with a copy of the Matrix on DVD as an apology from them!!

I and nor will my mother ever even think of buying a computer from PC World again!!
