needs better staff (PC World)

Advantages: huge stock of consumables, long opening hours

Disadvantages: untrained staff, too little stock information

This shop has no high street competitor, and I cannot understand why. The staff are untrained, only interested in getting customers to sign up for expensive warranties, most of the PCs on display are out of stock and the consumables must be the most expensive anywhere. Other electrical stores carry a small range of PCs and accessories, but PC World is the only place I know I can get the ink cartridges or paper I seem to run out of on a Sunday afternoon!
I have twice tried to buy a PC there, both times the salesman spent time explaining to me about the warranty, only to discover the darn thing was out of stock, with no idea when it would be available.
Maybe one day I will be brave enough to shop for a computer online, until then I'll have to pay the inflated prices of Comet.
