I don't shop in PC World very often, but have bought a few things from there in the past - my laptop, external hard drive and most recently a new printer. PC world sell a large number of electrical products and accessories such as: TV's, desktop computers, lap tops, external hard drives, software, cables, printers, games ... Read the complete review

Ordered a new laptop online from Pc World on Tues 12th at 6.30pm and it arrived today! (Thurs 14th). Great turnaround time considering i ordered it 'out of hours'. Can not comment on laptop at the mo as i am at work and said laptop is at home. But I thought i'd write a little review just to show how pleased i am with the fast delivery.

It will probably buck the trend of the reviews for PC World a bit, but I actually really can't complain about their customer service...too much. I normally tend not to purchase from PC World as I find them rather expensive. However, their Christmas Sales offer for a HP Widescreen laptop swayed me to go online and purchase said laptop first ... Read the complete review

Pc World is a computer retailer which to me is the best this country has to offer. When you want a computer part or need any assistance then this place is definitely worth a visit. They have got computers and laptops galore and they always have something on offer and as soon as that offer ends a new one pops up afterwards. They have got ... Read the complete review

PC World - not exactly sure what their target market is any more! PC World used to be the best place to get anything to do with a PC. They had a PC games section that was twice the size of a normal games store. Every peripheral (i.e. keyword) would have its own isle and if you needed something quickly you could count on them. They would ... Read the complete review

Read this before you buy from this store!!!!! I bought a £999 HP DV9000 series laptop from PC world Stirling on the 4th January 2007. The laptop functioned perfectly until November 2007 when the graphic card failed and it had to be repaired. The shop do not take under warranty repairs and claim it is nothing to do with them. It had to ... Read the complete review

My husband bought me a netbook for my birthday this year. He knew I wanted one, and I wanted one with Linux on, but other than that he didn't really have a lcue, so he had a look on the internet and had a look in the high street. He saw one in PC world, which looked affordable, but was an ex demo model, and was pink, but other than that it ... Read the complete review

PC World are a huge computer company that sell Desk top computers, laptops, software, desks to chairs too. I first bought myself to my local store, just over 8 miles away when a few years ago my laptop died on me out of the blue, I thought going to such a big company and brand that I could trust my needs in there hands, I was very wrong ... I'd never really thought about the service of PC World before - didn't have reason to either. Every time I went into the store and bought something it was just normal standard service - nothing out of the ordinary. Just recently, however, I have been appalled at their service. I bought a 32" Samsung TV for my sister in law's 18th ... Read the complete review

PC World!! Big company. Dont care about their customers at all. Bought a printer, taken it back numerous times. Never had it repaired properly. Have used loads of ink and wasted money. They kept the lead when I took it in despite listing it on the paperwork, nicked all my Epsom ink. Then when I said they replaced it with the cartridges which last ... Read the complete review

PC World is a dedicated computer system retailer which is part of the Dixons Stores Group (DSG) retail brand, also including Dixons and Currys. Bought a desktop from PC World online last week. I paid extra for it to be delivered on Saturday and it never showed up. Was told I could expect it this morning before 12 and here I am still waiting. It seems it's a combination of 2 things - PC World being next to useless and the delivery company they're using (DPD) being equally incompetent. Am going to ring them this afternoon to ask for my money back. I WILL NEVER BE BACK IN PC WORLD!!! What is so difficult in taking an order and honouring the commitment to deliver on a specified day?

PC World is one of the most well known stores for computers because they sell pretty much everything but I am not entirely sure it is that great to be honest. **Employees** I visit PC World quite often to look for the latest computers and also for the latest peripherals but every time I go in I instantly find an employee on ... PC World is where I go to get ideas and to see potential purchases "in the flesh". Rarely do I buy anything there, for the same reason that most of you don't - appalling customer service. When I do buy at PC World it has to be something that is unlikely ever to go wrong and at a very good price, not something you're often likely to ... Read the complete review

As somebody who has worked in the IT business for about the last 14 years or so, I have had many dealings (and heard of many dealings) with pc world. PC world, along with Dixons and Currys, are owned by DSG International Plc. I bought my laptop from pc world about 4 years ago along with a pc performance agreement for £10 a month. On several occasions recently I have had cause to visit PC World, and on all of these, have been extremely disappointed. The store boasts that it is the UK's leading store for computers and computer equipment; in my view, in no way does it live up to this claim.
