Please do not buy from PC world. If you have a problem with an item like I did and it goes wrong after 28 days PC world will not give you a refund, even though this contavenes the sale of goods act. Their staff are NOT trained in the sale of goods act they are told not to give a refund after 28 days. I even wrote to their head office and they say ... Read the complete review

PC World are by far the worst retailer I have ever dealt with in my life ever. I have been delivered the wrong item twice and am still waiting over two weeks later for them to even pick up the return item. I am not allowed to return the items to the store and am currently over £1200 out of pocket. Blind monkeys could do a better job at picking the ... Read the complete review

This review is of the PC World shop. Name of the shop suggests that everything that you need for a PC is on sale here. PC world is a chain store owned by the group that owns Curry's and Dixon's (used to be called that). PC world sells computers, laptops, software and computer hardware that is used inside PC's or ... I bought two computers at PCWORLD. I asked for a discount and the amount of £33. 00 was agreed. I was asked to sign a piece of paper, capitals and proper signature and was told that I would have free service for 3 months. I got home and examined my sales docket and found two extra amounts of money had been deducted i .e. £8.99 and £2.00, under ... Read the complete review

Bought a laptop from PC World. Very happy with the service. PC World sales man explained everything that I needed to know about my purchase. He asked questions like why I needed the laptop. I told him and he recommended one which was quite cheap. I was happy with the deal. Price of my laptop is £10 more on internet. I don't mind that because I ... Read the complete review

I've recently had a pc health check at pc world only to find the health check report on my pc belongs to someone else entirely. I spoke to the branch who told me it was some equipment they used that caused this to happen, but, not to worry, it was unlikely that my details were on some elses pc. I rang the person who's name, address and phone ... Read the complete review

Pc World are the biggest scammers for pc retailing ever to exist. They are really that bad, they over price everything yet claiming to compete with internet prices, my arse! Would you really pay £80 for an 80gb hard drive when the exact brand model and size is £30 in an internet store? of course not. Pc world just don't deserve the ... Read the complete review

Will PC World keep its promises? The following is part of an email we sent to PC World in an attempt to get the problem resolved. Needless to say, it got the same response as numerous phone calls - nothing. I have purchased two computers, peripherals and assorted software from PC World over the last few years. I find its always the same experience. PC World aftersales care have really let themselves down. My all-in-one printer arrived with instructions and telephone cabling that would be more familiar with Europeans than Brits.
