Speaking as someone who regularly scratches their cds (I don't know how it happens... it just does) the skip doctor has been a miracle for me.

A quick background of skip doctor:- the Skipdoctor is an american product and has just come to our shores. Basically its a contraption that fixes cds and dvds, you place your cd/dvd in to the machine and put some of the solution into it, then turn the handle and let the machine work its magic....and magic it is! its also extremely easy to use. I thought that many of my favourite cds were ruined, but no! the Skipdoctor repaired them a treat! But not only is this product useful for music cds, its also really useful for computer cds, so it really could save you a LOT of money....but hang on! not only is it able to repair cds, its also able to repair dvds......and at only £30 all you have to do is repair one dvd and you'll already have made up the cost!..what a bargain!!! It can be used looooaaaaddds of times, there is no limit to how many times you can use it, so you end up saving LOADS of money with it. It repairs scratches and abrasions and is also a good cleaner for cds, its definately worth investing in. One thing it doesn't repair is warping, but this isn't too common a problem anyway with cds, but it does deal with the most common of problems.

All in all the Skip doctor is a miracle worker, it is easy to use, and it makes up for the cost with only 2 cds, or just one dvd, so its definately worth buying as the chances are you'll be using it for many more cds, my advice to you is.....BUY IT! (by the way its available in Dixons and PC world, I don't know where else sells it but i know that they do for sure)
