Advantages: Good prices, I think.

Disadvantages: Rude, arrogant, lied/deceived too many times to count.

SECOND WORST COMPANY I HAVE EVER DEALT WITH - and that doesn't just include mail order ones.

Pros:-

1. Good price for the product I got.
2. Technical team seem competant.

Cons:-

1. Delivery took 8 days when it said 1-2.

2. Their stock counter lied and is also misleading. When I ordered it, it said it was "in stock". However, Stak told me I ordered it when it said "available to order". Not only that, but "available to order" could mean one can order it because it's in stock, or it could mean they have to order it. If it is out of stock, it should say "out of stock - on order".

3. Component didn't work (not necessarily their fault, but looks as though it was used and re-sealed). So I RMAd it.

4. Stak took ages to reply to e-notes and phone calls if at all. I had to ring up to find out the status of my RMA 2 days after I know they got it because they couldn't be bothered to ring me.

5. Upon speaking to them, they were seriously rude. I am pretty good at staying calm, but the guy I spoke to was so arrogant. Not the worst I have ever come across, but arrogant nonetheless.

6. Their website and T&Cs say that the buyer must pay for the return of a faulty item. After arguing with them over the law and telling them that this is wrong, they finally acknowledged that they should pay for a faulty item's return postage. Not only that, but after acknowledging it, they only refunded me 33%(ish) of my postage costs because they said they would have picked it up for 33%(ish) of the price I paid. But they say on their website you have to send it at your own cost! Nowhere does it say they will pick it up, and nowhere does it say they will refund you if it is found to be faulty (might do now because I complained so much)!!

7. RMAs take way too long.

8. Poor website which gives false information.

In summary, I found them to be so rude, extremely arrogant, and deceptive over the law.

AVOID AT ALL COSTS (unless you want to get something cheap and take a risk!!)!!

Summary: Not worth the effort at all.
