It's been two long months since I bought a Tiny laptop, 3700+ AMD 64 model, top of the range, costing £1,100. I'll be honest - I was forewarned about Tiny's abysmal customer service, but because of the powerful specification I went for it anyway "What could go wrong?!"... Well, just about everything. When I ... Read the complete review

As a current member of staff in a computer shop selling time and tTiny computer shop, I am appalled at the way in which the comp[any treats it's customers and staff....Both being treated with equal contempt. The internal attituade towards aftersales suppport being "f$$$k em" people buy a computer every three years so it doesn't matter ... Read the complete review

I would not even buy a floppy disc of this company, Time! dont waste your time dealing with this sham of a company. I also had the problems with not receiving an operating system or boot disc, when my PC needed re-booting i had to order a boot disc which cost me £50!. This never arrived as they sent it to the wrong address, despite ... Read the complete review

I very foolishly bought this time computer costing £1400 approx because the specification seemed very impressive like all computers it was delivered in big boxes and all went well when it was connected up. However after a few weeks it started to crash and freeze up, software problems I thought as it could not be the hardware anyway to cut a long ... Read the complete review

I've had my Time computer for nearly a year now. We were stuck with an awfully slow pentim 1 computer, so we all decided it was 'time' for a new one. When reading the paper, i came across a Time Computers ad, selling a very high spec PC for what seemed a good price. We ordered it, everything was fine, the paperwork was accepted etc ... I used to work for Time Computers for two years (I know Im sorry) I left because I could take anymore from such a useless, dis-respectful, couldn't-give-a-**** company. How they treat customers is totaly unforgiveable. I totaly sympathise with you people out there who have purchased systems from this excuse of a retailer. ... Read the complete review

I know this review is long, but it is worth reading... A friend of mine, decided she needed a computer, and was persuaded to part with alot of cash for a Time Computer, and even took out the extended warranty on the advice of the sales people. The PC ran fine until towards the end of the warranty when she was offered an option to ... Read the complete review

I bought a Time computer in November 2001. whilst initially I was happy enough with the kit, Supanet as an ISP Company proved to be wholly incompetent with a shockingly low level of customer service. This is obviously a theme which Time seek out in all their associations After a few months, I was begining to get very fed up with software ... Read the complete review

After leaving university I was wanting a low-cost PC, I knew a TIME PC would not be one of the best machines on the market but it I could upgrade parts over time. Upon delivery I had it up and running very quickly, and everything seemed fine. After checking all the components worked I went about wiping all of the preinstalled software and ... I've bought several computers from this company before and I often can't believe the amount of bad press they receive because I have never had a problem with them. This Christmas I ordered the Time Mirage 512 system from their website - It arrived just 3 days after ordering it (I ordered on the 14th December!!), I thought this ... Read the complete review

"I am a clueless person. I have no idea what I am doing when it comes to computers. I have never bought a computer before." This is the sort of thing I was saying three years ago, before I first went to Time Computers. At the time, I was a naive, young 16 year old who had just started a part time job, and wanted to get a brand ... Read the complete review

If Time's adverts seem to offer deals which are too good to be true, well then listen to your instincts - they are. I ordered a system last month on 17th June, which I was told would most likely arrive within 7-10 working days but could take up to 28. After 2 weeks I phoned the computer world shop (Liverpool) where I had bought the computer to ... Read the complete review

Just because they've gone bust they are still making me pay for being so naive a few years ago and falling for their adverts! Anyway i've 'grown up' & moved on to a self built system, (AMD Athlon 1.4, 256RAM, 205Gb HDD (across 3 x drives) total, Windows XP Professional, GeForce 2 graphics card etc). I'd love to be able to tell you why we decided to purchase a computer from Time. I've asked myself the question constantly since the day it finally arrived, each time filling me with hate and aggression towards this company who I have slagged off to anyone who would listen. You may think that the title of this opinion is a little harsh. Well no, im afraid this is the truth! I am more qualified to comment than most! I was tempted by the ad on in the paper. Notebook PC, DVD-CDr, Ehternet, the whole bit £899. I thought I was clever, I knew computers, I wouldn't need to ring the support, I could sort it all. I've read loads of opinions from people who have had numerous problems with there Time machines, but not me, no siree!!! Let me explain... After owning an old, slow barely internet ready pc for a number of years, I finally saved up enough of my hard earned cash to buy my dream computer. I bought a "Time machine" in May 2001 for £1300. No extended warranty. Within 13 days the power failed; I had to phone Time @ £1/min to be told by some boy 'have you tried this or that' when I obviously knew the problem was within the computer's power box. Eventually they agreed to return it to base and ... Read the complete review
