Watford ElectronicsNewest Review: ... that Saga they wrote to me and told me that Carrera had been taken over by Watford Electronics and that my warranty was void. They would however honour it for a total of two years only (on site). I've never understood this - they were part of Watford Electronics before. Two weeks before my warranty was up my graphics card failed. After two days of attempts to get through the guy on the ... more |

After waiting over 2 weeks I finally had my Pocket Loox delivered, only to see that it was obviously previously used -in opened crumpled/ripped plastic packets bags-and the Microsoft cd had been opened. I have contacted customer services by e mail but have had no reply. I definitely would not recommend this firm to anyone.

I bought my Carrera Computer because of its hi level spec and because it came with a five year warranty - three years on site and 2 years RTB. One week after it arrived (with damage to the tower case) the hard drive failed completely. I had to spend literally hours on the phone trying to get through to the warranty department. After twenty minutes in a queue they cut you off and you have to start again! Agh!!!!!!!! A few moths after that Saga they wrote to me and told me that Carrera had been taken over by Watford Electronics and that my warranty was void. I agree with those users who have reported Watford Electronics's disgusting customer service. It is the worst that I have ever experienced. I was supplied a faulty keyboard, so I immediately returned it. The purchase price was refunded, but I am still waiting for a refund of the postage that I had to pay to return the keyboard. This was over a year ago. Despite the bad service, I recently ordered some more computer parts, including a motherboard and extra RAM. The RAM chip was faulty, and the CPU cooling fan is horribly noisy. I have returned the RAM chip, and also asked for a replacement fan (I obviously don't want to return the entire motherboard, having ... Read the complete review

I am an invigorated man. Before you stands (well, sits) someone who has discovered that his system does not have any little glitches or sagging performance. He can now keep his end up with no trouble at all. Well hopefully all is now clear to you. No, I was not given a packet of small blue tablets for Christmas, I joined the romantic and practical set! Dearest and I had a talk a few weeks ago, and we agreed that we would buy each other a practical present that can be used by the whole family. Dearest expressed a great desire to have a pressure cooker, and who was I to turn down such a plaintive request, especially as I could eat for England, in ... Read the complete review

never use this company, they do not answer the phone or reply to emails, they provide no customer support whatso ever, I curse the day I ever did business with them, they are out to rip you off. I have spent 5 weeks waiting for a new ac adapter( the last one lasted 3 months) and they will make no attempt to help you what so ever. You can spend two hours on the phone without any reply and emails plus faxes are totally ignored. I wonder how this company has lasted since 1972! ps if you need to contact someone for what that is worth, the only person to contact is as follows:- Mr Peter Hills Customer Service Team Leader Direct Line 0871 666 0140 Direct ...
