abbadabbado Sainsbury's Basics HM822-V Hand Mixer: ... ve always enjoyed making my own cakes, but the process of blending the ingredients together can take a toll on my arm strength after a while. Being the weak woman that I am I decided to invest in a cheap hand mixer to help the process along and make my cake making faster and more enjoyable. I wasn t really worried about what I was going to buy so when I went into Sainsbury s to get my weekly shop; I just had a brow...

SusanLesley Tesco Value HM06
... many of you already know my husband, Dave, is working in Edinburgh on a long term contract and so he has rented a holiday cottage at Swanston for the duration. He tends to come home to North Wales every other weekend to try and limit his travelling a bit as it is so tiring. He has always fancied trying his hand at baking as his mom makes the best Victoria Sponge I have ever tasted! I am generally a decent cook but sponges are not my forte at all! Anyway he went off to his local Tesco store to stock up on the bits and pieces that he needed for his new venture. Amongst the things that he bought was a Tesco Value Hand Mixer for £4.18. He doesn t usually buy things that ...

tanyatigerlily Kenwood Titanium Major KM020
... all the appliances in my kitchen the Kenwood Major Chef is my favourite. My mother had a Kenwood Chef when I was growing up and, as I became better at baking, it became my most frequently used appliance. As soon as I was able I bought my own Kenwood, but decided to buy the larger titanium version. My love of baking has never left me and I cannot do any baking without my Kenwood. It has a wide range of speeds for mixing ingredients and I never have to worry about a mixture being lumpy. Apart from the general fitting for mixing and beating, it also has 2 other fittings for mixing or kneading thicker dough. There is also a multitude of attachments that can be purch...

TomandJerry Argos Value Range White Power Hand Mixer
... wanted to buy an electric hand whisk but as I wouldn t be using it too frequently, wasn t keen on spending a fortune. Argos to the rescue. They have a basic range which I have only just discovered but I think has been about for a few years now. Apparently they have over 300 items in the range. Other whisks I looked at were around the £30 mark and some well above. This little whisk cost under a fiver. Yes. I read the reviews on the Argos website, and everyone said it was a great bargain, not too bulky, and the wattage on comparison was as good as some of the branded names. In I go, get it home, and try it out making meringues. It has a number of speeds, all workin...
