Alfettaman KitchenAid 5KFPM770: ... decisions: If you ve read my review of the flawed Kenwood FP615 food processor on dooyoo you ll already know why we bought this. Suffice to say that I use a food processor every day for making bread dough (a demanding task for any machine) and our FP615 had such intractable problems that we ended up throwing it away before the warranty had run out. But there was actually one crumb of comfort to be had f...

... just had to buy a new mixer as the one we were bought for our wedding finally went caput! after 12yrs marriage - not bad!! hope this one lasts as long! I chose this one because of value for money, it s around £15, I bought ours from Asda. I liked it because it looked compact. Really there s not much about food mixer s but being as I do a lot of home baking it s quite important it s easy to use and keep! It stands up on end so it is very easy to store and the beaters clip in using a plastic insert when not in use. The trouble is that you have to take the little plastic bit out everytime you use it and knowing me I will loose it!! so actually I ve abandoned that and kee...

... mixer is by far the best accessory for bakers everywhere. I am a keen cake maker and have been lucky enough to have my eyes opened to the wonder that is the Kenwood Chef. It comes with three mixing attachments: the k-beater, dough hook and balloon whisk. Each of these performs a different job, the k-beater being used for cakes and biscuits, the dough hook for bread and the balloon whisk for creams and meringues. As well as the stainless steel bowl it also comes with a blender attachment which can be removed for easy storage, a specially designed spatula for effective bowl scraping and a Kenwood recipe book. The book is brilliant as it has over 150 recipes and it uses...

... mixer has revolutionised my cooking! It is straightforward to use, there is a splash guard and it makes muffin making, bread mixing, dessert creating a breeze. No more aching arms after using a balloon whisk, just set the Kenwood and off you go. I like to make meringues when we have guests and a special dessert that I call raspberry foam, such recipes used to take ages but with the Kenwood the whole process is over in 10 minutes. I recommend buying the mincer, (grinder) attachment so that you can whip up cottage pies, sausages or kofta grillers fantastic! The Kenwood is a pleasure to use, adapting your own recipes to use with it is straightforward and adding attac...
