... Using the product The product is rather heavy to hold first and foremost. So if you using the product for a long period of time, it will make your arm ache a little bit. The blender is super simple to use. You should plug the product in and push the blue button to make the product work once to make it work and then once again to make it stop. The blender is rather noisy and it will be intrusive if you're are having a conversation with someone in the kitchen. It vibrates heavily too and you can feel the vibrations go...more

I am not the hottest chef in the kitchen, but I am trying to get more adventurous when it comes to cooking and baking so I although they may not get used very often, I do like to make sure I have a good array of kitchen appliances/utentils etc in the kitchen so I am prepared for cooking and baking. As I am not exactly a budding chef, I only tend to purchase cheap utentils and appliances and one item that is lying around my kitchen cupboards at the moment is the Argos Value Hand Blender. Always being one to save pennies, it was the price that initially attracted me to this hand blender. It is marketed at the bargain price of just £4.99. As it is ...  Read the complete review

Back in 2006 I was purchasing as much as possible before moving into my own property. As I had a tight budget I brought a few items from the Argos value range. I didn't expect much from this product as it only cost me about £5 at the time of purchase. However I have been pleasantly surprised by the item and I still use it on a regular basis. The Blender The blender itself is white plastic in material. It's about 40cm long and bout 8cm in width. The handle is slightly thinner at the top to allow an easier grip. The blender is plugged into the wall socket and has a button that allows you to choose between two speeds (fast and slightly slower). The ...  Read the complete review

A standard of my kitchen is the Argos value range. With an Argos round the corner from my house and me and my girlfriend both coming from fully kited out houses to the one we now share thats only partly kitted out - Argos helpfully, and cheaply fills the gaps. This (at only £5) hand blender is no exception. Since we moved in during winter and during winter I become a home made soup addict - a hand blender like this essential. ------HAND BLENDER------ A hand blender, will blend your hands if you use it incorrectly, but its not designed for that. Basically, its a stick with blades on that whizz around when you press a button on the top of the ...  Read the complete review

I hold my hands up to not being much of a cook. I know how to do the odd thing and these are the things that I make time and time again. After being taught how to make a vegetable and finding out how simple it is, I needed to get myself a blender. Knowing that this could very well be a phase I was going through I didn't want to spend a lot of money on the product so I chose the Argos Value Range Hand Blender. About the product The product has been described as being a blender which aims to puree the food quickly, leaving your cooking smooth and lump free. The blender has a double action meaning that the product will cut horizontally and vertically at the ...  Read the complete review

I'm always one for good value for money and found a need for a cheap and cheerful hand helf blender for when we go on holiday in our caravan. I always prepare my own fresh soups and I use a blender about 4 times a week. I was a little reluctent in taking my expensive blender away with us on holiday as it just gets chucked away in the caravan cupboards. It was a friend that suggested this little one from the Argos value range. I was a little skeptical at first but was soon reassurred when my friend told me that she'd owned on of these for nearly 3 years. My first thoughts were' that you can't go wrong for £4.13 even it it only lasts a years or so.' THE ...  Read the complete review
