A year or so a go i started out baking and as i wasn't sure whether it would stick , i decided to buy only ' value ' equipment.

When i saw that this product was under £5 i instantly thought that it would die out on me within a few months but nether the less i was planning on just using this for a few months before i decided whether to carry on baking or not.

The Mixer had 5 speeds and it works well in pretty much any cooking situation , i originally planned on just using this for cake making but i now use it pretty much every time i cook. It saves your arm constantly aching when you use it for long periods of time. Makes whisking quick and enjoyable.

The exterior is quite cheap looking but it does the exact same job a mixer 10x more expensive would do. It is dishwasher safe. The weight is under 1kg and it has a reasonable length lead.

Unlike many reviews say i do not find the button stiff at all , After a few months i did buy a James Martin but i did not see any improvement on the argos mixer and eventually the james martin broke but incredibly my argos value mixer is still going strong after all this time.

A bargain purchase considering you'll get change from a £5 note. Overall i would recommend this to any beginner or intermediate baker.
