... I owned. Cleaning the mixer is really easy - as previously mentioned, the beaters are forged from thin metal and this makes them simple and hygienic to wash up.

All in all, the Kenwood HM190 is a great little mixer which is reliable and efficient. It's not the best looking device of it's nature on the market - but then a hand mixer is usually kept in a cupboard rather than on display, so for me looks aren't an issue - recommended....more

You may not be able to imagine me standing in the kitchen, mixer in hand, creating a deliciously moist sponge cake - but I can assure you that it does happen (ok - my cake-making only occurs once or twice a year, but that's not the point). The hand mixer in question is the 'Kenwood HM190' - a small and efficient device which can be purchased online for the very reasonable price of £12.
