With Apple yet again redefining technological boundaries with its latest innovative Ipad device, I like millions of others across the world where keen to get my hands on one as soon as they were released. Given the high price of the unit and the fact that I intended to use it and transport it around with me for a variety of purposes and locations I set about buying a protective case straight away to avoid any unwanted damage to my new toy!
After browsing a few stores online I decided to plumpt for the Belkin Knit Sleeve protector which was then £17.99 on Amazon.
This protector is rather unique compared to similar products as its made of what is described in the blurb as a "high quality polyester knit" which is intended to provide better protection to the Ipad particularly in terms of being anti-scratch and anti-scuff. Does it do the job? I have had no issues in the first month of using it and it certainly gives me confidence my ipad is protected. Its light, has no sharp edges and is very tough and well made with the Ipad fitting perfectly, and more importantly, safely inside. It closes at the top using elastic so there is no need for zips which could case scratches on moving the ipad in an out. Everything has been though out well in the design of this product and it's a credit to the makers.
Its also easy to grip on the move and easy to get a hold off and there are no worries around the case rubbing on the pad and causing damage, turning it on etc.
It also looks easy on the eye is quite stylish and definitely looks better than the plastic see through items.
All in all the Belkin Knit Sleeve does an excellent job of protecting my Ipad and I have every confidence in its ability to do so! Worth looking at if you want such a product!
