Review for the same pleated Belkin sleeve but just on a smaller kindle scale.

From the moment that I had my lovely new kindle clutched in my hands I wanted to protect it. I wanted a cover. But I didn't want one that would always be attached to the kindle as I love how light weight the kindle is and I didn't want to add any extra weight. I also wanted to be able to easily access all of the kindles buttons and be able to hold it as pleasantly as you can without a cover.

Therefore a sleeve was an ideal choice for me.

I wanted something that would protect the kindle when I am not at home or when it wasn't in use. And something to keep it safe when it will inevitably be thrown into my bag and dragged everywhere I go, as I do tend to take my kindle everywhere I go.

It wasn't a difficult choice selecting a Belkin sleeve, as I actually own a few Belkin products and I have never had a big complaint with any of them. The material used in the Belkin sleeve is very tough and made from a sturdy neoprene type of material. I have been using my sleeve for a couple of months now and mine so far it doesn't have a mark on it. The material does provide quite a bit of padding but I still wouldn't recommend throwing your kindle around.

There is also a decent size pocket at the front which is an ideal size to keep your cable in, which is great for making sure you don't misplace it. I also tend to leave some change in there or my Starbucks coffee card, because does anything go better than a great book and a hot cup of yummy coffee? Nope, definitely not.

The sleeve is not that much bigger than the kindle 4. The kindle actually fits fairly snugly and the cover is of course a bit wider but it is an easy size to pop into a handbag or laptop bag. It also has two zips which doesn't really add anything but I do prefer two zips to one.

Personally, I think the hardest choice was not to choose the Belkin sleeve but to pick the colour. I do know that the Belkin pleated sleeve is available in other colours but I picked the very vibrant pink shade.

On a plus side and yes there is another plus to owning a bright pink sleeve is that having such a bright colour means that the sleeve is incredibly easy to find. The pink stands out from almost all surroundings and I can spot my kindle almost instantly in the room, so I rarely lose it.

I purchased my sleeve from Tesco for £15. Although £15 is a bit pricy for something that doesn't do anything it does protect a valuable item and it does it well while looking bright and stylish.

To sum, I really like the Belkin pleated sleeve. It both serves its purpose well and looks great and I leave my kindle in this pleated sleeve whenever I am not using it. It's a sturdy and safe extra. I completely recommend this Belkin sleeve it does the job perfectly and looks great all at the same time.

These pleated Belkin sleeves are available for a whole range of products, not just the kindle (either 3g or 4) but the ipad and I'm sure I saw one for a notebook somewhere.

I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this Belkin sleeve, the cover has lived up to my expectations and it is something that even with daily use still looks great and protects my kindle while I am on the move.
Five out of five stars.
