Advantages: Good variety of functions

Disadvantages: Skype calls not as good as advertised

Having recently purchased this from my local 3 store, I was initially very impressed, telling all my friends about it, in particular the 'lifetime free Skype-calls' which I thought were great.

Unfortunately, after about a week of trying to make calls using the Skype functionality on the phone I realised that not only was it actually very difficult to find a position where the 3G signal was stable enough to maintain a decent call quality, when you did the sound quality was pretty dire.

This is no real reflection on the phone itself, which is a very nicely rounded handset, including all the functions you'd expect to find on a more expensive model, however if you're planning on buying this to take advantage of the free skype calls, I'd think again.

The handset itself is very comfortable, although feels a little cheap (as another reviewer states - has obviously been made to a very tight costing plan) and the lack of flash on the camera is particularly irritating. However ignoring the Skype issues, it's been very reliable, and although has locked up once or twice when I've been trying to run multiple applications at once, I would recommend it to anyone looking for a low cost alternative to the expensive handsets out there.

Summary: Overall a decent handset, with a few minor issues.
