Advantages: Slick menus, great design, 3G is very fast

Disadvantages: Expensive, call quality isn't great

I got this phone the other day on a pay monthly contract. I had to pay £99 for the phone, and then £30 afterwards per month for a decent number of minutes and texts. From September 16th it will be available on pay as you go for £350 (8gb) and £399 (16gb).

The actual phone is very easy to use, you simply tap on whatever you want and it opens up. The ipod on it is just like an ipod touch: great.

This new iphone is 3g, and it really is quite a bit faster than the old iphone. Web pages load up noticably faster, which means that regularly using the web browser on the iphone is a much more tempting prospect. Loading / zooming in on webpages is all very easy.

The call quality is merely passable. It's not what you'd expect for a phone that costs this much, but it's not dreadful either.

Overall, this is quite a good phone. It looks very good, the applications are all slick and easy to use and it's an ipod and phone in one. What more could you want?!
