Nokia N97 ... to my loyalty to Vodafone and as a Die hard Nokia user I had to have this phone (only because the Iphone 3Gs wasn t available with Vodafone until next year-Didn t know this at the time) First of all I was pretty excited about getting this but that soon changed when I switched it on. The phone itself looks great and the slideout pad is excellent(apart from some of the layout). I ll just come out and say it is a very buggy phone and should never have been rushed and released . The new V20 Firmware has solved a few bugs like, hanging at every application you execute, touch screen seems more responsive and most menus and options now have kinetic scrolling. A couple da... LG KF600 ... got this phone free with a new contract from Orange, and to start with it did its job well. I liked the touch screen, the camera, the mp3 player and its other features - this was a big upgrade for a person who previously just needed a basic phone for calls and texts. But very quickly I found that this phone was not all it was cracked up to be. First the alarm feature ceased to operate, then it became really slow to text with - also, once a text message becomes more than a page long, it decreases in speed dramatically to the point of complete frustration. Samsung SGH-J600 ... have had this phone 2 years now and i would recommend it to anyone thinking off getting as new phone, its easy to navigate though a simple menu that lists everything you can do which you can change how it looks, it also has an easy photo taking system which is basicly point and press but the camera isn t very good. The battery life is very good and can last for quite a while. When the phone is up the touch buttons and the left, right, up, down and home buttons are what your left with although the proper buttons are very good the touch ones can sometimes be temperamental you might have to press 2 - 3 times.
