Advantages: Small, Easy to use, Cheap and with a good price plan for me

Disadvantages: Small

Mobile phones have now become so small it has become impossible to go a full day without misplacing them. Hunting through the bag/pocket/contents of the desk has become a part of my life since I bought my new phone a couple of weeks ago and, to be honest, I think I may have made the wrong choice.

OK, it's not that bad really.

The reason I went for this phone is quite simple really, it is a cheap one, it has all the functions of a phone and it is mobile. I was getting a little tired of having a shared phone with my girlfriend so, when I had a nice little win on a casino website, I thought "why not" and began to look around.

The Virgin "VShop" had quite a few phones, a decent price plan and this was the one that kind of jumped out at me. At £69.95 I think I got a decent price for this phone - no problems at all so far.

The phone itself:
-----------------

OK, I've mentioned that it's small - very small. This is a distinct advantage for many people but I'm not been too bothered either way - the earpiece thing goes where it should and even though you're essentially speaking into fresh air with the phone's size, the other person can hear you. Always a plus in my experience. If you can't be bothered with this, there's a hands free kit too.

Now then, onto the usability of the phone.

The numbered buttons = obvious.
The button with the red and green phone symbols = pick-up, hang-up.
Centre button = something of an explore button. Really easy to use. Press it in and you've got the menu (details coming soon), upwards to go straight to text messages and down to go straight to the phone book.
Big "C" button = on/off.

And that's the lot really.

The functions on the phone are simplicity itself - Text messaging, an alarm, easy to access phone book, ring tones (all horrible but not really a big issue), WAP (n
ot that I ever use WAP - utter waste of time if you ask me).

The battery lasts ages - standby and talk times are great.

All in all I have found this phone to be an absolute star up to now, small, easy to use and really simple. If you want a real gadget then you would be better getting something else, if, like me, you would rather have the simple functions such as being able to call people and to be able to have them call you, this is a great phone to choose.

All rounder, cheap and simple to use - glad I picked it really. Now, if I can only find the bloody thing.....

That's decided it for me - I'm off to buy a couple of these next week, thanks for the review! Always worried about buying the cheapest of things but this seems OK - just what I need for emergencies.
