Ive been using the One Touch Max DB for over a year now, on the Virgin Mobile network. Its not as feature packed as many other mobiles are now, but thats probably due to the amount of time its been in the shops.

Ok, so how do I find it...well first ill point out the strengths.
A major reason for me buying this phone was the charge-up time. Like most people, I live my life in the fast lane (well more like the middle lane), but I needed a phone that I could whack on the charger and then an hour later it be fully charged for the next 5 days. This phone allowed that, I didnt have to leave it on over-night to charge like some of my mates, first half of the footy and its done.

As for the actual Talk and stand-by time, I find the 'bars' can be a little misleading. There are only 3 and you can think the phone is 2/3's charged, take a call for a few minutes and your getting "low battery" warnings. But that aside, if I only make a few calls then it last 4-5 days easy.

There is no predict facility on the SMS like many phones now, naturally this is a disadvantage but I find the phone as good as any ive used for text messages.

The directory stores 200 names + phone numbers, but it only allows 10 characters to enter a name. This can be very annoying when you run out of space. The actual amount is well enough - i havent used half yet (must be a billy no-mates).

The built-in hands free speaker come in handy if im in the car, it allows all of us (in the car) to talk to the caller
. Not used that often - but its a nice little feature.

Im sure you dont need me to explain other features like speed and re-dialling which are common-place on all phones these days.

Overall I would recommend the phone to first time phone buyers. Experienced users may become frustrated with the lack of up-to-date features that make mobile-life easier. Also any ringtone fanatics be warned, there will be on answering to the A-Team theme on this phone as you cant download any - your stuck with the standard ones.
