Advantages: price, appearance
Disadvantages: camera
Having seen this pay-as-you-go mobile phone in a magazine, I got one from Carphone Warehouse for £80 including £15 credit.
I never get contract mobiles so am never going to buy an Iphone or Blackberry, so this stylish albeit less superior phone seemed quite a bargain.
I'm not really a technological person when it comes to mobile phones so functionality is everything for me!
First thing about this phone is the appearance - from a distance it could be mistaken for a Blackberry.
Yet the 'keyboard' has slightly smaller buttons which took me a while to adjust to. The internet access is fairly fast although I have never been able to access hotmail on it (but to be honest facebook and google work a treat so its fine for my needs!)
The camera does let it down. Not sure what the megapixel rate is, but the quality is not worthy of facebook uploading. There are a couple of games but, again, nothing to get excited over. It is quite durable - I have had the phone nearly 18 months and only slight wear and tear to some of the paint. The battery seems to last a few days, but using the internet it really wears it down.
So for somebody who wants something that looks cool and uses their phone for a few texts and web browsing, its a good phone to have on pay-and-go. But for more frequent users, this obviously cannot compare to an I-phone or Blackberry.
