... out. Possibly I ve got a Friday battery ... it is really annoying to find your phone s switched itself off every so often - then have to remove the battery, put it back in and reset the clock. That process is easy - it s a slide n click cover - but it looks like Alcatel went one economy too far on the battery/connectors. Hard to rate this phone! Alcatel OT-E227 ... OT-E227 is an absolutely great phone. I came to know of it when my sister bought it. The phone is very attractive, especially the one that comes with pink colored casing and stars on it. The phone has the following exceptional features; Its size is very small and it slips into your pocket right away with very much ease. It comes with attractive themes and the screen s brightness can also be monitored. The phone doesn t have advance functions such camera, internet browsing and music player. Alcatel One Touch 511 ... find it strange that the Alcatel One Touch 511 has never been reviewed before, as it is quite an old phone. The manual which I have for it states that it first came out on 2000, which is quite a long time ago by anyone s standards. However, the example which I bought last week on Ebay as an emergency phone to replace one my sister had stolen on a train, despite being quite battered, still worked fine. Whether this is testament to the phone not being used very much, or something due to its own inherent quality, I am not too sure, but the phone was interesting when it came out too. Alcatel One Touch Club ... bought this Alcatel mobile phone many years ago. It was my first mobile. I like the stylish design. At that time, having a mobile phone was the fashion, not the brand name. This is a basic mobile phone. The reception is good and clear. It has all what one needs for a mobile phone. For many of the young users, the functions are just outdated. But, if you just want a mobile phone where you be reached anywhere, get this. The ring tones may be outdated (monotones), but, who cares? If you are shy to let others hear the ring tones, set it to vibration. For a small phone, it does vibrate well. The battery is lasting. There are other capabilities which I won t discuss here....
