Apple iPhone 3G 16 GB

Over here in the UK we had a long enough wait for the iPhone. Then the rumour mill started churning about possibility of a 16GB iPhone. Wow! Well first we didn't believe it. Then we waited. And waited. And craned our English necks to see what we could see over the pond, and finally it arrived. The wait is over and the 16GB iPhone is now on UK shores. It costs GBP499 at the moment. The Iphone 3G is exactly like the old iphone. Its just a bit slimmer and supposedly the internet is 3x faster. Its only faster by 2-3 seconds. Thats not worth the extra money. It fell only once and that too on a carpet, and the side of the screen became white..and that white soon slowly started to spread throughout the screen. An annoying feature of the iphone is that we cant forward messages and we cant send and recieve multimedia messages. I have tried many times. You also cant upload your own ring tone. I have had my iPhone 3G for approximately 12 months, and despite having several shortcomings it has become the one item of technology that I can no longer live without. As far as build quality goes it is really exceptional. It feels significantly sturdier than the earlier iPhone model, as well as a lovely polished feel that you don't get with more basic phones.
