Advantages: all the features and the look
Disadvantages: size and price
My friend has this phone and i've always wanted one as they seem to brilliantly mix the itouch with a phone.
Features~
It has a slim, sleek design with a 3.5 inch touch screen display, a built in speaker that allows you to play music without head phones and comes in 8GB, 16GB or 32GB storage memories (the higher gthe more expensive). The audio play-back charge lasts for up to 24 hours which is quite a lot for non-stop listening. It has a 2.0 megapixel camera which isn't very high spec but it really is penty enough. Pros~
All the feautures are really up to date and there is always a software update for the Iphone that you can install whenever it comes out so you are always up to date with all the new apple technology. Really easy to use especially with the multi touch interface which allows you to do whatever you like and personalise everything about your Iphone and really makes it feel like it is yours. With a Pay monthly contract it is fairly cheap although you need to have quite a big contract. It really is good value for money though.
Cons~
I find that it is quite a big phone even though it is slender. It fits into your pocket, but i prefer quite small phones that are easy in the hand. Also the screen is easy to scratch if you do not have a protective cover on which really is a pain. On pay monthly it costs a whopping £340 with 8GB , the cheapest option.
Overall i personally think that it isn't the phone for me. But it definately is a brilliant phone and a great piece of engineering and a great all-round performance phone.
Summary: A great all-round phone and one of the most well-known phones around

- 11/01/09 Sorry about the lower rating here but if you don't own this phone yourself (or have it in your household), I find it hard to find this review to be very useful since you aren't giving us your first hand experience with it. I'm sure your powers of observation are very keen - as that is how this review reads - but we're looking for personal experience and opinion here. |
